  • Regarding the way of contemplation preached by Great Master T’ien-t’ai, ever since he attained the truth through the practice on Mt. Ta-su of Kuang-chou, all phenomena in the universe are workings of the ultimate reality functioning in accordance with the environmental conditions when he meditates on the Wonderful Dharma with his eye open, but they represent the permanently unchanging ultimate reality when he contemplates the Wonderful Dharma with his eyes closed. “My experience with the Antara method suggests that the fascial network in the body is a physical representation of what I call emotional latticework. Each of us builds our own unique emotional latticework within our body that is formed from the energy of both positive and negative emotions. Stress, unresolved traumas, and suppressed emotions can build a complicated energetic latticework containing disharmonious frequencies that seem to change the tonicity of the fascia and interfere with energy flow. Imagine the fascia as a biological fabric made up of many long threads.”
